Andreas Promegger celebrates his 9th World Cup victory in Carezza

At the first parallel giant slalom of the FIS Snowboard World Cup season, Andreas Promegger (AUT, Kessler) dominated in the final against his competitor Lukas Mathies (AUT).Head to head against Benjamin Karl (AUT) and last year’s winner Roland Fischnaller, (IT) Promegger also came out victorious. Victor Wild (RUS, Kessler) celebrates a successful return to the World Cup with a third place win. In the women’s race, Tomoka Takeuchi (JPN) celebrated her first World Cup victory. In the final, she defeated defending champion Caroline Calve (CAN, Kessler). In the battle for the last podium spot, Anke Karstens (GER) gained the upper hand against Swiss rider Stefanie Mueller.We wish all the Kessler riders a successful 2013 World Cup Season.
